Resources for Feminists and Women

Some (self-reported) data on the status of women at various departments can be found, here.

Information on the number of female faculty at a number of graduate programs can be found, here. This is by no means a perfect indicator, but I do think it may tell prospective students something about a program’s culture. A better way, of course, is to contact students actually in the program and ask for their impressions.

In response to a discussion that took place on the Feminist Philosophers blog regarding the possibility of pregnancy during graduate school, a prospective student put together this spreadsheet of parental leave policies at some graduate schools, found here.
